A PT-1 (their style designation/name) made from 100 year old Alaskan cedar that was formerly the bench seating at one of the most iconic cultural venues in the world from 1919 through now. The Hollywood Bowl and its seats have borne witness to the most famous performers in history. This wood has not just been shaped and colored by the weather of southern California but also the sonic vibrations of talents both old and new. Itâs a piece of cultural history. How much more appropriate could it be than to be fashioned it into a beautiful musical instrument that can help create more music for generations and be handed down in perpetuity to those that follow.
