We all know and love The Sanctuary Resort for it’s awe-inspiring location on Camelback Mountain and air of luxury and sophistication. But it’s the Sanctuary’s hidden gems that blow us away.

The Sanctuary’s hidden gems blow us away. With eight private villas trailing up Camelback Mountain, The Sanctuary offers something for everyone. Each villa offers it own charm and unique amenities, while still offering access to the best bits of staying at a resort, namely access to spa facilities and pool, valet parking, studio movement classes, and a nightly turndown service.

We recently shot a surprise birthday party in Villa Mesa and loved the contemporary style of the villa. This was a fantastic choice for the event, offering a luxe yet cozy vibe. This villa also boasts a private pool, secluded patio, and private tennis court. We think the floor to ceiling windows made for a gorgeous look into this event, and of course offer stunning views.

This event wouldn’t have been complete without the scrumptious desserts, provided by A Bakeshop. A local favorite, and run by the birthday girl herself, A Bakeshop creates masterpieces of cake, cupcakes, and my personal favorite, cactus macarons.
